An Associate for Mercato's growth equity fund, Austin has spent his career supporting early and growth-stage ventures, both in operating roles and as a valuation associate. He left valuation to pursue an MBA from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business, where he focused his studies on AI and entrepreneurship.
During his graduate studies he supported an early-stage VC firm, Illuminate Ventures, and helped lead 99Tartans, an angel syndicate group investing in CMU-founded companies.
